Summer gives you that liberating feeling, you really can go wherever, however, whenever lol. But then again, you really want to protect your skin from the sun, it could be quite damaging.
So, summer is all about the sun, yeah? Let's look at the top 4 ways you can protect your skin during summer.
1. Exfoliate
To Exfoliate is to remove dead skin cells.
When dead skin cells build up, they easily clog out pores, causing breakouts. So exfoliate regularly, to get rid of these dead cells.
2. Moisturize
You don't want to rip your skin off oils. Doing that would make your skin look dry and wrinkly. To avoid that, apply a good oil based moisturizer ( jojoba oil, coconut oil, almond oils are excellent organic choices).
3. Use sunscreen
Always use a sunscreen even when under shade.Higher SPF numbers indicate increased protection. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends using at least SPF 30. Use sunscreen even on cloudy or cool days as damage from the sun’s rays can still occur. Re-apply every two hours or after swimming or when sweating. Also, check the expiration date — shelf life is typically three years, less if it has been stored in high temperatures.
4. Wear sunglasses with UVA and UVB protection. Proper, protective sunglasses help prevent damage to the sensitive skin around your eyes.
