Top 5 Ways To Remove Skin Tags

Skin tags are common, acquired benign skin growths that resemble a small, soft balloon suspended on a slender stalk. Skin tags are harmless growths that can vary in number from one to hundreds. Males and females are equally prone to developing skin tags. Obesity seems to be associated with skin tag development. Although some skin tags may fall off spontaneously, most persist once formed. The medical name for skin tag is
acrochordon, fibroepithelial polyp, cutaneous papilloma, and soft fibroma. All of these terms describe skin tags and are benign (noncancerous), painless skin growths.
Early on, skin tags may be as small as a flattened pinhead-sized bump. While most tags typically are small (2 mm-5 mm in diameter) at approximately one-third to one-half the size of a pencil eraser, some skin tags may become as large as a big grape (1 cm in diameter) or a fig (5 cm in diameter).
Some people refer to these as "skin tabs" or warts . However, a skin tag is best known as a skin tag.

Top 5 Ways to Remove Skin Tag*

1. Apple Cider Vinegar

First, wash and thoroughly dry the area around the tag.

Apply some apple cider vinegar to a cotton ball and apply to the bump.

You can secure or hold the cotton ball in place for up to 15 minutes.

Repeat this procedure three times a day until the skin tag darken, dries, and eventually falls off.

Avoid using apple cider vinegar to treat skin tags located near the eyes.

2. Vitamin E Oil

Use a pure, quality vitamin E
Apply the liquid to the skin tag and cover with a bandage.

Change the bandage and Vitamin E oil every day after cleansing the affected area.

Repeat this process daily for three weeks or one  month until the tag is gone

3. Oil of Oregano

Make a homemade oil of oregano by allowing fresh oregano to infuse with olive oil for several weeks, before straining.

 Alternatively, dilute
oregano essential oil with a carrier oil like jojoba , or sweet almond

Apply this oil directly to your skin tag three times a day. Allow to air-dry before covering with a dressing or bandage. Repeat this process daily until the skin tag dries out and falls off.

4. Iodine
Liquid iodine, can be painted on to skin tags or warts once daily.

Some say the skin tags will fall off within just days of the initial application!

Iodine is a natural element that breaks down the skin cells and causes them to safely fall off.

Avoid applying the iodine to the surrounding skin – you can do this by rubbing a barrier of coconut oil onto the healthy skin, before applying the iodine with a Q-tip to the tag

5. Coconut Oil

Rub coconut oil into your skin tags every night before bed, and the tag should be greatly reduced, or have disappeared, within a few short weeks.
